POLIN Museum welcomed two Nobel Laureates in Physics

On June 21,2023, POLIN Museum welcomed two Nobel Laureates in Physics, Professor Philip James Edwin Peebles and Professor Barry C. Barish, and their spouses. They visited the  Core Exhibition and "Around Us a Sea of Fire,” our current temporary exhibition. They also met with Zygmunt Stępiński, Director of POLIN Museum, and Bartosz Dymarek, Director of Development at the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland.

Professors Peebles and Barish came to Poland to receive the first Copernican Awards, which were granted by the Copernican Academy.
