The Power of Words. About Jewish languages Exhibit Opens

On November 20, 2025, POLIN Museum opened The Power of Words. About Jewish languages exhibition.

At the opening POLIN Museum’s director Zygmunt Stępiński, Chairman of the Board of the Jewish Association of Historical Institute in Poland Piotr Wislicki, and exhibition curator Tamar Styma all talked about the special role of language - its ability to connect and build bridges between people, the responsibility that comes with it, and about language as a code Identities and a live record of community events. Michaela Sidenberg, Chief Curator and Deputy Director of the Jewish Museum in Prague, talked about the behind-the-scenes of cooperation between our institutions in creating "The power of words".

The exhibit was co-organizer with the Jewish Museum in Prague and the Association of The Jewish Historical Institute of Poland.

The exhibition runs until June 8, 2026.
