Gideon Taylor and Pinchas Zukerman visited POLIN Museum

On September 11, Gideon Taylor, President of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, visited POLIN Museum. He was accompanied by his family and by Pinchas Zukerman, acclaimed violist and conductor. They visited POLIN Museum’s Core Exhibition and “Around Us a Sea of Fire,” the first exhibition in the world devoted to the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising from the perspective of Jewish civilians trapped in the ghetto. They met with Marian Turski, Chair of the POLIN Museum Council, Piotr Wiślicki, President of the Board of the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland, and Łucja Koch, the Museum Director’s Plenipotentiary for Education and Sales and Head of the Department of Strategic Programs.  

The Claims Conference, the single largest organization in the world working to secure compensation, restitution, and assistance for survivors of the Holocaust or the heirs of victims, is a Distinguished Benefactor of POLIN Museum and donor to the exhibition “Around Us a Sea of Fire.”
